The information and tools provided on Thumbnail Downloader (thumbnailsdownloader.com) are provided in good faith for general, personal and educational use. Please read this disclaimer carefully before using the tool.
Not Affiliated with YouTube or Google
Thumbnail Downloader is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with YouTube or Google LLC. “YouTube”, the YouTube logo and all related names and marks are trademarks of Google LLC. Their use on this site is purely descriptive — to explain which service the tool works with — and does not imply any partnership or endorsement.
Thumbnails Belong to Their Creators
Every thumbnail image you can access with this tool was created and uploaded by the video’s creator or channel owner, and it is protected by copyright. Downloading a thumbnail with this tool does not transfer any rights to you. You should only reuse a thumbnail — in a video, blog post, design, product or anywhere else — if the thumbnail is yours or the owner has given you permission. If you are a copyright owner and you believe this tool infringes your rights, please contact us and we will respond promptly.
For Personal and Educational Use
This tool is provided for personal and educational purposes: studying thumbnail design, preparing presentations and teaching materials, creating mood boards, and similar fair, non-infringing uses. You are responsible for how you use any image you download.
No Files Are Hosted Here
This website does not host, store or distribute any thumbnail images or video files. When you use the tool, the images are fetched directly from YouTube’s own servers (i.ytimg.com) to your browser — exactly the same files YouTube itself displays publicly. Nothing you download passes through or is kept on our servers.
Accuracy of Results
The sizes available for each video depend on what the creator uploaded and what YouTube generated and stored for that video. Some videos have a true high-resolution thumbnail; others do not, and no tool can create detail that was never uploaded. We show you the actual files YouTube serves and clearly label their real sizes.
External Links
Our site contains links to external websites, including YouTube. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss that may arise from your use of them.
